Dr. Henry Rapp III
For more than two decades, patients from Manhattan to New Haven, Connecticut, and beyond have trusted Dr. Rapp for comprehensive dental care using the latest proven advancements in dentistry. Known for his contagious energy, enthusiasm, humor, and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Rapp is committed to creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient.
His approach to dentistry places equal emphasis on clinical excellence, patient comfort, and psychological well-being as important components of overall health. Skilled in cosmetic, general, and reconstructive dentistry, Dr. Rapp combines advanced technology with personalized care to help patients improve their smiles and maintain optimal oral health for a lifetime.
Dr. Rapp is certified in all aspects of implant restoration and is a member of the prestigious Academy of Osseointegration. He is also a certified Invisalign Provider and a member of the Invisalign Pro Program.
Dr. Rapp has practiced dentistry since 1996. He received his bachelor’s degree from Purchase College, where he majored in psychology and had his senior thesis published. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. While at Case Western, he served as a student delegate and alternate to the Ohio State Dental Association.
Following dental school, Dr. Rapp continued his education through a general residency program at New York Cornell’s St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. He was later invited to join the staff at Beth Israel Hospital. As an attending doctor with Continuum Health Care Partners/Beth Israel Medical Center, Dr. Rapp established and headed the dental clinic at The Peter Krueger Center.
In 2013, Dr. Rapp assumed his current practice location in Fairfield, Connecticut, continuing the legacy of a dental practice originally established in 1948.
Throughout his career, Dr. Rapp has received numerous professional honors and recognitions. He was awarded a commendation by the Connecticut State Medical Examiner for his work with the State Medical Board. He has also been recognized by his colleagues in New Haven as a Top Dentist in their annual survey, named a Top Dentist in Fairfield, and was admitted to Leading Physicians of the World in 2016.
Dr. Rapp remains committed to continuing education and regularly attends conferences and advanced training courses to stay current with evolving techniques, technologies, and standards of patient care. His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, Connecticut Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Outside the office, Dr. Rapp enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle and dedicating time to charitable and community organizations. He is the Co-Warden of St. Paul’s on the Green in Norwalk and a Past President of the Purchase College Alumni Association. He also enjoys traveling and treasures time spent with family and friends.
